We know you’ll agree that Crestwood North is a wonderfully unique community full of beautiful homes and fabulous neighbors. This December we hope you’ll choose to participate in the 3rd Annual Crestwood Aglow event which will shine a light on one of Birmingham’s favorite communities. If you’re a Crestwood North resident, we ask that you please consider placing white paper bag luminaries outside your home on your sidewalk, walkway or stairs on Monday, December 17th from 6PM-9PM. If you’re a fan of fabulous holiday displays, we ask that you plan a driving or walking tour of our neighborhood during the event.

In conjunction with the event, Girls Inc. is now selling candle luminary sets for $10. Each set includes enough candles, bags and sand for 12 luminaries. Sets may be received during Girls Inc. office hours, M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm. Delivery is available for an additional $2 for Crestwood residents. Place your order online at www.girlsinccentral-al.org.

We also hope you’ll participate in the first-ever Holiday Decorating Contest to coincide with Crestwood Aglow! There are two opportunities to win prizes: 1) Email a photo of your decorated house (inside or outside, or both!) to info@girlsinccentral-al.org to be featured in an online voting competition and/or 2) Send your name and address to the same email, and your outside decor will be judged on Dec. 17th during the Crestwood Aglow event (must have a luminary display to be eligible to win).

Crestwood Aglow is hosted through a partnership between Girls Inc. of Central Alabama and the Crestwood North Neighborhood Association. We appreciate your support of this wonderful opportunity to showcase our great community!
